Thomas Miller Mortuary & Crematory is the oldest continuing business in Corona, California. For generations, we have been serving our neighbors in Riverside County during some of their most difficult moments. Our founder, Roger Miller, moved to the Sunshine State in 1959 to attend the San Francisco College of Mortuary Sciences. After graduating, he spent just under a decade at White Mortuary in Watsonville. In 1969, Roger and his wife, Pat, purchased the name Thomas Miller Mortuary. The second generation of Millers joined the family business in 1992 when Roger and Pat’s son, Chris, became a funeral director. Chris Miller is now our owner as well as a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
In the early 2000s, we expanded our reach to better serve Riverside families by acquiring our sister property, Sierra Memorial Chapel. Sierra Memorial Chapel was founded in 1964 as another family-owned business owned by Frank Barrows and Warren Whitfield. Families in Riverside have called upon Sierra Memorial Chapel Mortuary for the finest services, the most comfortable facilities, and the most compassionate attention.
With our feet planted firmly on our rich foundation of family values, community outreach, and excellence in everything we do, Thomas Miller Mortuary & Crematory is always developing new ways to provide the very best funeral services to Riverside County families.
